Objective: The primary objective of Visionle is to correctly guess the label or word that corresponds to a specific image from the ImageNet-Sketch dataset.
Guessing Limit: Players are allowed to make up to six attempts to guess the correct label for the image. Each attempt involves providing a guess for the label associated with the displayed image.
Guess Input: Players input their guesses using letters. They can input any combination of letters that are equal to or shorter than the actual challenge word. This includes the option for a more relaxed "Looney Mode," allowing players to input a variety of guesses.
Feedback Mechanism: After submitting a guess, the game provides feedback based on the accuracy of the guess. The color of the tiles representing the letters of the word changes to indicate the following:
- Correct letter in the correct position: Highlighted in a specific color.
- Correct letter in the wrong position: Indicated in a different color.
- Incorrect letter: Not highlighted or indicated.
Example Gameplay:
The player is shown an image of a dog. They guess "Canine." The feedback reveals that the letter C is in the label but not in the correct position.
The player guesses "Puppy." The feedback indicates that the letter P is in the label and in the correct position.
The player guesses "Animal." The feedback shows that the letter A is in the label but in the wrong position.
Players continue making educated guesses based on visual cues from the image and interpreting the feedback to determine the correct label. Successfully guessing the label within the allowed six attempts leads to a win.
