Teniz

Teniz is a game inspired by the format of "Wordle," but with a focus on testing your knowledge of Tennis Grand Slam Champions of the Open Era. The objective of the game is to identify the Champion Tennis Player of the day based on given clues and attributes related to their Grand Slam career stats.

Here's how to play Teniz:

  1. Objective: The main goal of Teniz is to correctly identify the Grand Slam Champion Tennis Player using the provided clues and attributes.

  2. Attributes: The game provides a set of attributes at the top of the page. These attributes include the Year of the player's first Grand Slam win, Slams Won, Country (which could be multiple countries), Gender, Total GS Singles Titles, and Style of Play (Right-Handed vs Left-Handed).

  3. Guessing: Use the search area to enter your guess for the Champion Tennis Player based on the given attributes. After entering your guess, click "SUBMIT."

  4. Feedback: After each guess, the game will provide feedback on how your entered player's attributes match against those of the player in question. The feedback is indicated using color codes and symbols.

  5. Clues for Grand Slams: The feedback for Grand Slam attributes works differently and is indicated as follows:

    • Green: Exact match of Grand Slams.
    • Blue: All Grand Slam titles were won by your guess, but the player in question has won more.
    • Yellow: Some common Grand Slam titles between your guess and the player in question, but not an exact match.
    • Red: No common Grand Slam titles between your guess and the player in question.
  6. Easy Mode: You can switch to Easy Mode at any time during the game. In this mode, attributes are revealed after each incorrect guess, making the clues more direct.

  7. Additional Hint: On your final attempt in Easy Mode, you have the option to use an Additional Hint.

  8. Ranking Points: Depending on the attempt you win the game, you'll be awarded ranking points. The earlier you solve it, the more points you'll receive. Switching to Easy Mode or using the Additional Hint will dock points.

  9. Tier: Your tier is determined based on your total points. Try to reach the GRAND SLAM level by earning the highest points possible.

Teniz combines the challenge of word-guessing games with the excitement of tennis trivia, providing an engaging experience for those who are passionate about tennis and its champions.
