PokéBonk
At a Glance
PokéBonk Online is a 3D survivor-like roguelike with a Kanto adventure feel, built by a developer who goes by Charcher and first showed it on October 14, 2026. It's an HTML5 game that runs in a desktop browser, so PokéBonk Free really does mean no download and no ads. A typical run lasts about 10 to 20 minutes, and the bright cartoon style suits players aged 7 and up.
What is PokéBonk?
Pick Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle, and the arena fills up fast. That's the hook. PokéBonk is an unofficial fan project that takes the horde-survival loop from Megabonk and drops it into Kanto, with Vampire Survivors and Risk of Rain 2 somewhere in the family tree.
The partner Pokémon attacks on its own. Players just move, jump and grab XP while packs of wild, animal-like creatures close in from every side. The cartoon look keeps the chaos readable, even when the screen gets crowded. Each level-up offers upgrade cards: a new move, a stronger attack, or a vitamin. Max out a move and pair it with the right vitamin, and it becomes an Ultimate, like Flamethrower turning into Fire Blast. Evolution happens mid-run, which is where builds start to feel different from one another.
All 151 Kanto Pokémon are in, unlocked through challenges. Classic mode splits the adventure into zones with guardians and a shrine, while Survival mode keeps the hordes coming. Players can go solo or team up online with up to 8 friends, and guests can jump in without an account.

What Players Are Saying
Reviews are thin so far, since the game is still in beta. Early write-ups keep coming back to the Megabonk comparison and the vertical 3D maps. Players also point to the free, ad-free, guest-friendly setup and the clan system. Expect some rough edges while updates roll out.
